James M. Henry & Sons
Fike goes into a lot of detail on the lives of John M. and John F. Henry. According to him, John M. Henry started the business in around 1855 in Waterbury Vermont. He was joined by sons John F. and William W. by 1862. There was apparently some kind of split around 1870, taking the wholesale and retail sides of the business in different directions.

I found an ad in the 1866 New England Directory listing James M. Henry & Sons. They were listed as James M. Henry, William W. Henry, and John F. Henry.

I have two catalogs from the company. The 1872 catalog calls it "John F. Henry, 8 & 9 College Place, New York." The 1875 issue of the catalog called the company :John F. Henry, Curran & Co." This ad (view) from the 1872 Catalog indicates the Eli Johnson & William Henry took part of the business and moved to Burlington, VT.
