Harlene
Product of Edward's Harlene Co. Limited. In 1903, Edwards registered the word "Harlene" as a Trade Mark (TM #40,308). He claimed to have been selling the brand name since 1883.

In 1912, the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia published a series of articles titled: "Secret Remedies - What They Cost and What They Contain," which were analyses of patent medicines by the British Medical Association. They found Harlene to be about 93% water, 6% alcohol, .5% borax, .4% glycerine, .1% ammonia, and traces of other ingredients.
