Clark's Swedish Hair Creator and Dye were listed in the 1858 New York State Directory. Price was $1.00 a bottle for the Hair Creator, and 75 cents for the Hair Dye. I found Allen Clark listed the same year at 380 Broadway as a Perfumer. He advertised his Onguent in Harper's Weekly in 1865.
