William Bogle
William Bogle was a Wigmaker in Boston, Mass. starting in 1842. His business was initially located at 228 1/2 Washington. Various listings and ads had his address moving up and down Washington Street between 1842 and 1872. For the last few years he was in business, he had branched out into General Perfumery.

In 1857, Bogle was selling a preparation called "Bogle's Balm of Cytheria," which was for the complexion. He retired around 1875. Directories from 1875 to 1879 listed him with a home address only. According to Putnam, the Hyperion Fluid was advertised as early as 1846. I found both of the hair products advertised as late as 1864, and the Hair Dye was still for sale in 1875.

Another product which was advertised was "Bogle's Amole Shaving Cream," but it probably wasn't in a bottle.
