David E. Becker was the proprietor of this article starting around 1881. He was listed as a Druggist in Easton, PA from 1877 until 1885. Becker registered the trademark of a leaf with a (D.E.B.) monogram in 1881 (TM #8578). The earliest bottles (1881) were embossed "D. E. Becker", and later he incorporated the whole trademark. The product was for sale in the 1901 Morrison & Plummer catalog, so it was for sale at least that late.
