Tregor's E.R.B. Hair Invigorator
Marcus Tregor was in the Barbers Supply business in Baltimore from around 1882 until 1913. In 1882, he was listed as a Perfumer, at 58 S. Howard. Then, in 1889, he was managing M. Tregor & Co., Barbers Supplies & Perfumery. He changed the business name around the turn of the century to the Atlantic Barber Supply Co. By 1906, the company was being run by M. Tregor and sons. According to Fike, the sons names were John D. and Harry A. Fike also indicated that Marcus Tregor died in 1913, and the business was still alive in 1956. In 1895, Tregor advertised an Arabian Egg Shampoo, Dandruff Eradicator, Lanolin Cocoa Cream, and Lanolin Witch Hazel Cream. Chances are that there were other embossed bottle variants. Fike said that the business had a branch in Washington, DC from 1891 until 1917. I've found this product listed in ads from 1917 until 1919.
