Richmond Hair Dye
Hugh Blair registered the trademark shown on the right in 1879. He claimed to have been using the brand name since 1869. This product was advertised as shown below (minus the highlighting) in the 1872 John F. Henry Catalog. As you can see, the Proprietor was listed as J. Blair by then. One of the 1872 Ads also mentioned a "Blair's Quinine & Glycerine Hair Tonic." It was probably sold by the same Blair.
