Samuel B. Rosenfield, a member of the Reuben's Hair Restorer Co., of Detroit, registered this brand name as a trademark in 1887. They had just been selling the preparation since earlier that year. The label shown was included with the trademark petition. I found the Company listed at 110 Adams Street, in Detroit in 1888. Rosenfield was still listed in 1890 as "Hasir Restorer Co." The bottle described here was listed for sale on eBay in 2004.
