Q-Ban
The Hessig-Ellis Drug Co., of Memphis, Tennessee, registered this brand name (as shown on the label) as a trademark in 1919. They said they were using the brand name since 1900, and it was used for a "Hair Color Restorer," "Depilatory," "Liquid Shampoo," and "Hair Tonic." At one point the Proprietors were listed as VanVleet Ellis Corp (see VanVleet). The Trade Mark was renewed in 1939, by Mckesson & Robbins, of New York.
