Nancy V. Martin, of Colchester, Ill., registered this brand name as a trademark in 1898. She said she had just started using the name earlier that year. The label shown was a picture of Martin herself. It was included with the trademark petition. I've transcribed the text from the sides of the label below it. The label also called her company the "Nancy V. Martin Toilet Co."
