Devner listed a C.T. Hurlburt & Co., in New York as the Proprietors of this preparation. Apparently the bottle had the initials "U.H." in it, so it may have been from another Hurlburt, or another generation. She also said that the preparation was sold in 1899.
Charles T. Hurlburt started out selling Homeopathic Medicines in 1862. From 1862 until at least 1868, his business was located at 437 Broome. By 1876, it had moved to 898 Broadway, and was called "Patent Medicines."
