According to O'Dell, Mrs W. W. Hadley, registered a label in 1885 for an "Indian Preparation for the Cure of Superfluous Hair." He said her business was located at 128 Summer Street, Lynn, Mass. I was unable to find any direct references to her business in Lynn Directories. Her business was probably short-lived. The label she registered was shown in O'Dell's book.
