This product was advertised in 1849 through 51 New York Directories. The Proprietor was Francis McCracken. One of the other ads gave the business address as an office in the Lyceum Building at 563 Broadway. In 1852 I found an out of state merchant, (A.S. Jordon) indicating that he was an Agent for this product. The advertisement transcribed below was in the 1851 Directory.
