Mrs Nettie Harrison, of San Francisco, registered the words "4-Day" for "Hair & Scalp Preparations" in 1909 (TM #74,562). She indicated that she had been using the brand name since 1891. By 1909, Henry Michaels was the President of Mrs Nettie Harrison Co. Devner mentioned seeing a bottle for this preparation.
