The Charles A. Vogeler Co., from Baltimore, Md., registered the brand name "Demelvo" as a Trade Mark for a "Hair Eradicator" in 1893 (TM #22,309). They claimed to have been selling the brand since 1892. It was still listed for sale in the 1896 Morrison & Plummer catalog.
