Crockett's Amygdaline
This was an early preparation of Reuben P. Hall, of Nashua, New Hampshire. Fike said that this product was sold by Hall only in 1866. According to Rick Hall, it was sold by Shepardson & Gates after 1867. The Wilsons had a picture of the "Crockett's Amygdaline" bottle and it's label in their book. The label indicated that the product was for burns, scalds, insect bites, prickly heat, chapped hands & face, and skin eruptions, in addition to being an excellent hair dressing. Bottle picture courtesy of Daniel Lakatos.
