| John C. Cahalan, representing the Bishop Chemical Co., of Wyandotte, Mich., registered this brand name as a trademark in 1898. Cahalan said he had been selling the brand since 1897. He claimed that this product was a "Medical Preparation in both liquid and solid form, for the hair." The picture shown was included with the trademark petition. Cahalan also mentioned that the words were sometimes blown into the bottles. |
