There was a Druggist named Burger in the early 19th century in New York, but I don't think this bottle is that early. The milkglass and the solid pontil on it would lead me to class it with Barber bottles. I would date it around 1880. The prices these have been selling for are high because buyers are assuming that these are earlier bottles.
