Bogue & Fawcett's Mirrific Balsam
Thomas Bogue was listed as a Haircutter in 1840. Bogue and Fawcett ran a wigmaking business in Philadelphia in the 1840s. I found the ad transcribed below in the 1845 Philadelphia Directory. Their business address at that time was 165 Chestnut Street.

By 1852, both Bogue and Fawcett were marketing their own Hair Tonics. The following was transcribed from the 1845 Directory:
The celebrated MIRIFIC BALSAM, for the growth, preservation and embellishment of the hair, increases daily in popular favor, and is pronounced to be the most agreeable as well as the best article of the kind extant. Wholesale and Retail. 75 cents per bottle.
