Batchelor's Columbian Hair Dye
This was an English preparation, apparently intending to imitate both Batchelor's Hair Dye and Harrison's Columbian Hair Dye. An ad in the 1857 London Post Office Directory listed a Perfumer who was the Agent for this preparation and Boyle's Hyperion Fluid. The product was advertised in an 1867 issue of "The Queen." At that time, the Proprietor was listed as R. Hovendon & Sons.
