| According to Fike, the Mexican Amole Soap Co., of Peoria, Ill., advertised their products in 1889 and 1916. An ad in the 1901 Morrison & Plummer catalog listed an "Amole Shampoo Jelly," and a Amole Glycerine Shampoo." Fike said their products included a Hair Tonic. They had a registered Trademark which appeared to be an amole plant with the roots visible (TM #15,776). Other Images: Amole Label
